Long COVID Rehab Summit and Call for Patient StoriesAPTA and the Office of Long COVID Research and Practice, US Dept of Health & Human Services are co-sponsoring an interdisciplinary meeting on the topic of Long COVID Rehabilitation this spring. If you, or someone you know, are interested in participating in this meeting as a representative of APTA, please apply here. (You will need to log in to the volunteer platform – top right). Application deadline is February 20. At this meeting, we’d like to show some video clips of people with Long COVID who are currently receiving, or have recently received, rehabilitation services for their Long COVID symptoms. We’re hoping to highlight a variety of experiences: individuals from different areas, who may have received care in different types of settings. Please share this flyer with appropriate individuals who may be interested in sharing their story. The “please volunteer by” date is Feb. 16 so that we have ample time to set up the recordings and edit the final product. |
